Catherine M. O'Rourke

O'ROURKE--Catherine Marie, age 96. After a brief illness, of heart failure, on June 23, 2013. Born Catherine Marie Burchie, March 8, 1917, on Staten Island. In 1947, married Charles O'Rourke, who served with the NYPD for over 20 years. Her husband predeceased her in 1992. Moved to Stuyvesant Town in Manhattan as a bride in 1948, where she lived until 2004, when she moved to Lott Assisted Living Residence at 108th and 5th Ave. Survived by her son, Terrence J. O'Rourke, and her daughter-in-law, Melinda Roberts O'Rourke, of New York City and Sewickley Heights, PA. Also survived by her niece, Dr. Barbara Naiman Young of Philadelphia and her nephew, Deacon Donald Naiman of Danbury, CT. Service on Wednesday, June 26.
