Charles D Storer

Charles Drinkwater Storer, Jr. was born on August 15, 1929in Jamaica, Queens, NY to Charles and Lois Penny Storer. Graduate of Ridgewood High School, and Dartmouth College. He served with the United States Marine Corp.in Korea in 1951. Charles wed after returning from Korea. He worked with the Capitol Journal in South Dakota, The Knickerbocker News in Albany, NY and the Associated Press. He also had a career in public relations with the NY Stock Exchange and Robert Marston & Associates. Charles retired in his 81st year. He was a lover of his family, the fine arts, & "farmer's" markets. He traveled widely with his wife June, and loved photography, becoming an accomplished photographer. Equally he had a passion for music. He leaves behind his family and a host of others all of whom will miss him.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016, 3:30PM-4:30PM at the Chas. Peter Nagel Funeral Directors, 352 East 87th Street, (located between First and Second Avenues) NY, NY 10128 (Telephone #: 212-289-2221). There will be a Memorial Visitation prior to the services from 1PM-3:30PM.
