

Christopher J. Brande, beloved son of Joan and Ralph G. Brande, passed away on January 24, 2015. Chris was a baseball lover, a collector of historic memorabilia, and a world traveller. He visited 82 countries on seven continents both for pleasure and as an international auditor for CIBC, where he worked since 1995. He was a graduate of Fordham Preparatory School, Fordham University (B.S. in Accounting, M.B.A. in International Business Finance), and a New York State Certified Public Accountant. He is survived by: his mother, Joan; brother, Ralph Brande; sister, Marybeth Brande; brother-in-law, Donald Chanfrau; and his devoted and much-loved longtime partner, Kimberly Chesser.
Viewing on Tuesday, February 3 from 2-8 PM at Chas. Peter Nagel Funeral Home, 352 E. 87 Street, Manhattan. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 4 at Saint Joseph’s Church of Yorkville, 404 E. 87 Street, Manhattan, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Cemetery, 101 Mill St., Putnam Valley, NY 10579.
