        Je ne peux toujours pas croire que tu n'es plus là. J'entends encore ta voix qui me parle au téléphone me prodiguant des conseils et moi qui te dis que je prie Dieu pour que tes années soient multiples. 
        La vie est ainsi faite et nous n'y pouvons rien. Je garderai toujours en mémoire la force et le courage dont tu as fait preuve tout le long de ta vie. Cette femme forte qui sait arriver à ses fins, qui sait braver tant d'obstacles, toi le chef de famille, celle que tous chérissaient. 
         Puisse Dieu dans sa bienveillance t'accueille dans sa maison et que de là haut tu continues à veiller sur nous comme tu l'avais si bien fait sur terre.

My courageous and steadfast Aunt,

Tatan, you have been a blessing in my life. I take pride in knowing that you helped raise me, train me to be strong and teach me how to be a better person. You told me never settle. When you had a poignant message for me, you always delivered it in a proverb. You taught me how to dance and laugh. You often emphasized the importance of family and how not to forget where I came from. Your lessons will always remain part of my core. I am proud to know that I had a special place in your heart, you too will always have a special place in mine. Keep shining above with the stars in the heavens.

You stood in place of our Mother and continued to fulfill the role of my Godmother with ease. You have been the foundation and the strength of this family. Who will I talk to every day? Who will be my voice of reason? My dear sister, you will be missed, forever loved and never forgotten. May the Lord bless you and may you continue to shine a light for all those you left behind.

It was not by hazard that I ran into a woman at the supermarket in the produce department as I was buying plantains on a Friday evening.
We introduced ourselves, she told me that she knows of my family from Cap-Haiti.
The conversation was nicely detailed for a good 45 minutes about her two loving children, how she raised them on West 94th Street.  I wildly asked her if she is Carline's mother and affirmatively to her answer, I complimented her on how well she did raising a wonderful, well-mannered, beautiful, and very educated young lady.  Stylishly with her eye wear, she blushed and thank me. I was glad to meet your mom. I see how her influence shaped the person you are.  She will continue to live through some of the good qualities you possess.
One of the many gifts that God gives us is of a mother to provide us nurturing, comfort, and support and Claudette will comfort her children and family through God.
My heartfelt sympathies on the loss of Claudette Celestin to her children and family. This invaluable loss can only get over by praying to God. Lots of prayers for the safe journey of Claudette Celestin's soul to heaven.

HEAVEN OPENED IT GATES TO WELCOME AN ANGEL HOME. GOD KNEW THAT HER PURPOSE ON EARTH HAD BEEN FULFILLED. HE WHISPERED, "DAUGHTER, WELL DONE." SHE WALKED INTO HER CREATOR'S ARMS AND RECEIVED HER BEAUTIFUL WINGS. SHE IS WHOLE AGAIN AND IN THE PRESENCE OF THE MOST HIGH. ALL THE ANGELS REJOICED.
