Though your smile is gone forever, and your hand I cannot touch, I still have many memories of the one I loved so much. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I’ll never part. God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart.

I always found the most impressive thing about the Pal family was  the unconditional love that they have for each other.  It’s always easy to show love for one another when life is going well, but real love for one another is tested when a family endures hardship. The level of love and attention the Mrs Pal and Dr Carmen Pal had given Dr Pal  was always so very impressive to me as their nurse.  Dr Pal himself always spoke of his wife and daughter with such pride, and for very good reason.  I’ve learned a great deal about what it’s like to have such a close knit family, and will apply what I’ve learned to my own.  May God Bless  Dr Pal and his family
