John F Blair died on July 29, 2016 in Alexandria, Virginia. He was born October 3,1938, in NY, NY to the late Andrew and Nora Blair. He is survived by brothers Andrew and Thomas, sister -in-law Paula, and nine nieces and nephews.
John was a graduate of Fordham University, having taken his Bachelor's of Science Degree in 1960, a veteran of the US Marine Corp, a career IRS agent in NY and Washington, DC.
He will have a Memorial Visitation on Sunday, August7, 2016 from 7PM-9PM at the Walter B Cooke Funeral Home located at 352 East 87th Street, (between First and Second Avenues) New York , New York 10128, (Telephone : (212) 535-1500). Flowers are accepted, however, the family asked that donations be made in his name to Fordham University. On Monday, August 8, 2016, there will be a Memorial Mass , 10AM, at the St. Thomas More Church65 East 89th Street, (West of Park Avenue) New York, NY 10128. Interment of cremated remains will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Val Halla, NY.
