Retired partner of BDO USA and previously Fields, Fischgrund & Aerenson. Past Treasurer, Board Member, and Executive Committee Member of the NY State Society of CPAs and proud recipient of the Society’s highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award. Longtime member of the Finance Committee of Congregation Emanu-El of the City of New York. Founding Trustee of the Grace R. and Alan D. Marcus Foundation. Veteran of the Second World War. A man of incomparable character and integrity, he will be remembered and profoundly missed by those he guided, befriended, and loved.
