Born in Ghana and raised in Paris, Daniele was a proud New Yorker for more than three decades, where her vivacious spirit and unmistakable humor became part of the neighborhood fabric. She brought a little French flair and a lot of personality wherever she went - her quick wit and unapologetic honesty left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her.
Daniele had an infectious energy that drew people in. She loved to cook, to explore restaurants old and new, and to fill her days with laughter and conversation. She approached each moment with charm and sass, reminding those around her not to take life too seriously.
She is survived by her beloved nephew, Stéphane Robin and his daughter Léa, and by Daniele’s extended U.S. and Greek family, who were family not only by connection but by heart.
A memorial celebration of Daniele’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather in her honor and share stories of a life that was bold, joyful, and unforgettable.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Daniele’s honor — a gesture she would have deeply appreciated.
