I met Debby when I was 8 years old in the collectors club and she always brought a warm and inviting presence to the room, unfortunately with the pandemic and my move to college we lost touch, however every time I saw my stamp collection I thought of her guidance throughout my upbringing at the collectors club and I am indebted to her. She will be greatly missed.

I did not know Debbie very well until we were both sitting in a hotel lobby  at a stamp exhibition.  Talking to her I realized how intelligent she was and how giving.  She dedicated herself to young stamp collectors and therefore promoted the hobby in a direct manor.  You did a great job, Debbie.

Debby was a patient, kind and generous mentor to so many NYC area youth. She will be missed by so many. 
I feel very lucky to have been introduced to her through a former employee of the Collector's Club. 
Debby supported and encouraged our son's enthusiasm for philately and connected him to a fascinating hobby where he learned so much .
Our entire family's wealth of knowledge on history, geography and multiple other subjects has expanded due to Debby's passion for youth. 
Just about a week ago, my husband was searching for the name of a former President while telling me a story.  "Taft!" I answered. "How did you know that?" he asked me. "Youth Stamp Club. I was paying attention while sitting in the lobby of the club." 
Thank you Debby for many wonderful memories.

Grateful to have met Deborah and to learn more about her stamp collecting and her passion for the collectors club. She was so generous and sent stamps and wonderful workbooks to my young daughter so she could explore her own collection. I respect and admire her steadfast determination and curiosity in history. 
Rest in peace and thank you Deborah!

Debi was always a kind and supportive mentor both in my interest in stamp collecting and my academic career from the time I was 12. I'll always carry fond memories of meetings with the youth stamp club she ran for over a decade at The Collector's Club in Manhattan. Rest in peace, and thank you for the memories.

It was a privilege to know her, and she will be missed by all those who   knew her especially by  those she  mentored.

I'm so sorry. We were friends for  years, and she helped me find much joy, especially over the last 14 with helping her by volunteering with the Kids Stamp Club and the Adult Beginners Club. She will be greatly missed.

I mourn the loss of my good friend and fellow philatelist.  Our friendship spanned decades and I thoroughly enjoyed our many conversations about Panama and Colombian stamps and postal history.  Her breadth of knowledge was incredible and each time we chatted I learned something new.  The amount of time she donated to Copaphil (the Colombian Panama Philatelic Study Group) and to her junior philatelists evidences her love of the hobby and willingness to share.  A true decent and wonderful human being.  Debby, I will miss you.
