She was born in Berlin, Germany 1922, immigrated to Paris, France in1934 with her family
and then to NYC in 1941. She became a naturalized citizen in 1946.
She worked at Christian Dior after her divorce in 1963, assisted the startup of Club Med and then worked
In the investment department of bank on Wall Street until she retired. She then worked as a volunteer
at the Jewish Museum for 25 years. She spoke five languages and is survived by her two children, Deborah and Robert Gildener. She was An exceptional woman.
