

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dominick Di Certo, who left this world on May 7, 2025, at the age of 93. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Dominick's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Born on October 16, 1931, Dominick was the son of Rocco and Sarah Di Certo. He grew up in a close-knit family, where he learned the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. After graduating from Aviation High School he embarked on a successful career in the Navy Reserve as well as The Airforce where his love and passion for airplanes and aviation earned him respect and admiration for his dedication and expertise.
Dominick was not only known for his professional achievements but also for his unwavering love and support for his family. He was a devoted husband to Dolores, father to Deborah, Donna, Michael, Laura and Kristen and a cherished grandfather to Valentina, William and Jillian. His home was always filled with laughter, stories, and the sweets that he loved to eat.
An avid reader, teacher and catholic, Dominick enjoyed sharing his love and faith to parishioners and was the director of the CCD instructions for over 30 years of sharing this passion, and faith with those around him. He was a member and Deacon of Holy Rosary Church where he made lasting friendships and contributed generously of his time and love of God.
Dominick is survived by his loving wife Dolores, his children, Deborah, Donna, Michael, Laura and Kristen and his grandchildren, Valentina, William and Jillian and his Daughter in Law Suzy and Son in Law Peter.
A memorial service to celebrate Dominick’s life will be held on Wednesday May 14th at Walter B Cooke Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to share their memories and honor the legacy of a man who truly made a difference in the lives of those he encountered.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Make A Pilot Foundation in Dominick's name, reflecting his lifelong love and passion for aviation.
Dominick Di Certo will be profoundly missed but will forever remain in our hearts. His spirit, deep faith, love, and laughter will continue to inspire all who knew him.
