I looked for Edith tonight online, she popped into my head and I wanted to say hi to her, and am so sorry to hear she had passed away a year ago. I worked closely with her on her book cover and other graphics as her designer. She was a good woman, and I enjoyed chatting with her and working with her. She will be missed. 

When Edith was clearing out her apartment in anticipation of having windows replaced, she had a lot of books.  She wanted to bring them to the Strand.  We went together so I could help with the boxes.  She  gave me copies of her novel "The Book of Esther" and her narrative poem "Lost" dedicated to the survivors of the 9/11 attacks.  She was an interesting and inspiring person, and I am so glad to have known her.
