Eileen Dolan

Eileen (Smyth) Dolan 1928-2024 passed away peacefully at the age of 96 in New York City on September 13, 2024. She was born in Ireland in the town of Tuam, County Galway on April 7th, 1928 to Winifred (Quinn) Smyth and Michael Smyth, then emigrated to the United States when she was 19 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Dolan. She is survived by her children Mary Maldarelli, Jane Bauer, Patricia Gagliano, and Thomas Dolan; her grandchildren Joseph Maldarelli, Christopher Maldarelli, Robert Maldarelli, Mallory Gagliano-Barnhart, Eric Bauer, Amanda Sabato, Kristina Dolan, and Tyler Dolan; as well as her beloved great grandchildren Gemma Maldarelli, Jamison Barnhart, Gianna Barnhart, Jennifer Maldarelli and Julia Maldarelli.

A private family viewing will be held on September 20, 2024 at Nagel’s Funeral Home in New York City. Eileen will be buried with her husband Thomas at Long Island National Cemetery.
