Eleanor Veronica Harrison of Manhattan, New York passed away on June 9, 2026 at the age of 92 after a long and fulfilling life. She was born on January 8, 1934 in New York, she was the third daughter of Ellen “Eileen” (Rooney) and James Harrison. She graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx in 1952.
Eleanor worked in several secretarial positions, real estate and for Dr. John Cinelli until his retirement.
Eleanor is survived by her three sisters, Mary Welply of Sunnyvale, California; Jane Wilson of West Hartford, Connecticut and Kathleen Harrison of Lakewood, New Jersey and Belmar, Florida, her eight nieces and a dear friend, Peter E. Berard. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, James of the Bronx, New York and sister Patricia Lugon of Switzerland.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St Joseph's Church, 404 E 87th St, New York, NY 10128, US, on June 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with live streaming available at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/c26066461258089.
Burial at Calvary Woodside, Queens, New York will directly follow the service.
