Elinor A Stein

Died May 6, 2022, just three weeks shy of her 96th birthday. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Hilda Glass, her brother Jerrold Glass, her son Charles Stein, and her beloved husband of 42 years, Herbert Stein. She leaves behind her biggest fans, her son, Robert Stein, her daughter-in-law Paula Stein (who she always referred to as her daughter), her grandchildren, Erica Stein and partner Andrew Kosenko, Joanna Stein Weiner, and husband Scott Weiner, Alex Stein and husband Tyler Ray, and her great-grandsons Andrew and Lucas Weiner.

Elinor was a woman of immense charm, warmth, and energy. Her life long love of music was a gift she shared with her family and all who knew her, and her stories of traveling the world with her husband were her grandchildren's first introduction to adventure. She devoted her life to the service of others, first as a teacher in the Wantagh Public Schools in Long Island, and after retiring, as a member of The Board of Directors of The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee Florida. She was adored and will be greatly missed.
