Erich Frank 12/16/1970 to 1/6/2019

A great man, truly one of a kind. Erich was the best son, brother, uncle, and loving partner you could ever imagine.

Erich grew up in Short Hills, NJ. After he graduated, Erich accepted a position with a financial firm.

In his professional life, he began his career as a financial advisor working his way up to one of the youngest Managing Directors at UBS. He has over 25 years of experience.

Erich attributed his success to the good fortune of having great mentors and colleagues who taught him about private wealth management and motivated him to achieve great accomplishments. Erich loved his work, it was a big part of his life.

Erich lived a wonderful life. He worked and played hard, he was fortunate to achieve many of his dreams.

Erich is survived by his loving mother Phyllis Frank and his father Bill Frank (predeceased), his sister Jayne Tuchman, Hilarie Frank (Laura Dibenedetto), niece Hara Tuchman, nephews Harris Tuchman (Jaclyn), and Jake Tuchman, and his loving partner in life Emily Rosen.

When my kids (9 and 12) ask me about first crush I had in school, I tell them it was this boy I met when I moved to Short Hills when I was 10 years old. His name was Erich Frank. I still have our first photo together. Although I did not know Erich in my adult life, I was broken hearted to hear about his passing. He sounded like he was still the handsome, funny, great guy I remember from Highschool.
My deepest condolences go out to his entire family.
Sending my deepest sympathy,
Darian Jennings (Schlossberg)

My team and I learned the extremely sad news today of Erich's passing. Erich was an incredible business partner and we considered him a friend. Erich fought many hard battles for us with integrity, transparency, and fairness. More importantly, he was generous with his time and he was willing to listen. Erich had an incredible talent of identifying a problem & creating a solution whereby all parties involved felt like they won. I know I speak for all of my Boston colleagues who had the privilege & honor of working with him that he will be sorely missed. We send our most sincere & deepest sympathy to his family and all of his loved ones.
May he Rest in Peace.

I work as a doorman at the building Mr. Frank lived in. He was always quiet but very friendly and nice to me as he was towards everyone. I was sad to hear of his passing. He will surely be missed. May God bless and comfort his family & may he Rest In Peace.

I only knew Erich for a few years but consider myself fortunate to have had that friendship with him for the time I did. EFrank had a great sense of humor, always looked sharp, was always such a pleasure to be around but more importantly was so generous with his time, wisdom and more to those around him. There aren't many people you meet that are universally liked and Erich was one of those people, his loss is felt by so many of us. I learned a lot from him in a short period of time and wish that could've continued in the years ahead. I appreciated Erich as a mentor and a friend - my lasting memories of him will be belly laughing with a cocktail in hand and a big smile on his face. The world lost a great guy way too soon. Erich and I worked together in LA and quickly became friends. Erich was bright, stylish and hard working. He was a great example of someone who put others first and made you feel that he genuinely cared about your well-being. I am grateful to have known him and wish his family peace and comfort, knowing that he is in a better place, free from pain.
