Eva was a nurse for over 40 years, starting her career as a Lieutenant Nurse in the Army for 3 years and then climbing through the civilian nursing ranks while finally completing her career as Nurse Administrator at NYU Langone Hospital in New York City. She loved to travel, garden, cook, and spend time on her computer shopping for her family. Eva loved art and had an incredibly creative sense; she was always interested in design and fashion, and had great style. Above all, Eva loved to look after others with a fierce generosity of spirit and will be missed by all.
Eva is survived by her partner Marian; children Evie and Brie and son-in-law Jeffrey; sister Ivona; niece Jessica and her family Drew, Braxton, and Brayden; and lifelong best friend Linda. Family and friends are invited to gather on September 12, 2026 at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home at 10:00am to celebrate her life. For those who would like to join us at the cemetery, the burial will take place at Pinelawn at 1:30pm.
Donations to Public Broadcasting Service or the New York Philharmonic in Eva's memory are welcome.
