Fernande Fils-Aime went to be with the Lord on the morning of June 28, 2016 at her residence in Manhattan, NY. Born on August 8, 1943, she was the youngest of four children from the union of Henri Fils-Aime and Melitide Bernard. She was employed at Dimes Savings Bank for many years before she lost her sight 16 years ago due to diabetes. She loved the Lord and did not question her loss. In the contrary, she believed in the word of Philipians 4 verse 13 “ I can do all things through Him who strengthens me”. She attended church services at Central Baptist Church in NY.
Fernande had a zest for life. She relished in the times and the many vacations she took with her family. She also enjoyed listening to audio books. She is survived by her older brother Roland Fils-Aime and his family, her son Guy Seneque with his wife Mary and the grand-children Joaquin and Logan, her nieces Guirleine Versailles and Nancy Hexmoor, her nephews Yves-Marie and Frantz Versailles, her great nephew Christopher Williams, and her cousins and friends.
