Frankie was a lifelong resident of Yorkville, a neighborhood he proudly called home his entire life. A dedicated public servant, he was retired from the United States Postal Service, where he spent years serving his community. Frankie was also a proud Vietnam Veteran who served his country with honor and dedication.
Based in his deep love for New York, he was a passionate, lifelong fan of the New York Mets; he knew how to not take life too seriously and was always quick with a joke. Beyond his service, he also had a deeply compassionate heart, especially when it came to his love for animals.
He has gone home to be reunited in heaven with his beloved mother, Mary Shannon, and his father, Frank Ross.
Frankie’s memory and laughter will live on through his family:
* **Sister:** Susan
* **Half-Sister:** Helen Dunn
* **Step-Sisters:** Nancy Massey and Bridget Dunn
* **Niece and Nephew:** Erin O'Donovan and Michael Sweeten
He will be deeply missed, but his smiles, jokes, and generous spirit will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Frankie.
