Dear wife of Hans Gesell and mother of Melina Gesell. Sister of Frances Sambucini, Eva Misa and her husband Ted, and of Anthony Padron and his wife Jacqueline. Gloria graduated from CCNY with a degree in clinical psychology and obtained her Master's from Catholic University. Especially inspired by child psychologist Jean Piaget, Gloria attended Ottowa University for courses in the early childhood doctoral program. In her professional career she excelled in working with pre-schoolers and children with developmental delays. For many years she worked as a consultant for Harlem Children's Zone under Dr. Carl Browne. She truly loved her work and family. A celebration to honor her memory will be held at the Riverside Memorial Chapel in New York on Sunday October 21 at 5pm. Visiting: 4pm prior to ceremony.
