To Gloria's family,

I offer you my condolences.

Gloria and I met at a Gotham writing workshop and we became friendly,  meeting a few times for lunch in the years after the class.

She was humorous and perceptive, and I enjoyed being with her.  I will miss her.

Working with Gloria at Cravath for 10 years was a gift.  She was a fighter for those who may otherwise have been left behind.  Gloria always had time to listen, and to offer wise advice.  Farewell to a dear friend, and sweet condolences to her family.
