Haidee was a wonderful loving friend to me ever since we worked together at Granada TV in the U.K. before she went to the US
Despite the distance she remained a strong straight talking friend. Always interested in me and my family. Haidee you will be missed by all of us.
Our condolences to all her family- particularly Louisa who was always the centre of her life.

Haidee was a dear friend, a mentor and an advisor. She never was one to mince words, she told it like it was. If you wanted honesty you went to Haidee. 
She was a pioneer, becoming a single mom before it was commonplace.  And she loved being a mom and was blessed with the most special and beautiful Louisa. She was brilliant and beautiful but never took herself too seriously. She was a listener and often spent more time asking about my life and my problems rather than talking about herself. Just a couple of weeks ago, I was blessed to spend time with Haidee and she characteristically was interested in hearing about my life. Anything I was dealing with was trivial  as compared to what she was facing yet she still wanted to know.  I will miss her dearly; I already do. I am blessed to have known her.

Haidee was a woman who exemplified style, grace and wit. We laughed together about our dental drama and commiserated over the cast of characters we dealt with in the soap opera like world of real estate. I loved Haidee’s spirit and energy and will miss her beautiful being. She was unique -a one of a kind special original. Rest In Peace dear Haidee.

Dear Haidee,
I only saw you twice a year to catch up but we were so conneted. I always had a great laugh at our lunches! You were so full of life and I will miss you so much! You made us all so happy!

Haidee and I go back 40 years and what started as a business relationship developed into a deep and passionate friendship. She stayed with us many times in Toronto and in Naples. My husband Norman became part of our relationship and while their politics were far apart, their love for each other remained firm and unwavering.How we loved her. When you were part of Haidee's life you experienced the joy of true friendship. Nothing was ever too much.All the messages that came before this one expressed our feelings more perfectly than I can-all of them true.

Haidee was a true original....from the moment I met her, I loved and admired her confidence, laughter, that unforgettable voice, her grace and charm.  She was far more than a colleague and she and I became fast friends.  I consider her one of my closest and I will miss her deeply.  I loved and remembered her fierce love and pride of Luisa and so glad she brought her to the office to meet us.  And the stories, experiences, and laughs we shared are hilarious and priceless....I hold on to those as we walk through the deep pain and tears of her loss.  You will forever remain in our hearts and lives through your glorious Spirit, Haidee Granger.   And every Spring, I will think of you as my hydrangeas begin to bloom....they were planted in your Honor.  Love you dear friend now and always.  John

Haidee always made me laugh with her brilliant wit. She talked about her daughter all the time and was truly a caring, socially conscious and high quality human being. I am sad she is gone. I wish her family my deepest condolences.
