My brother Howard Kornfeld was an attorney on Vesey Street in Manhattan. He started his career at the State Insurance Fund and branched out to succeed as a private practice compensation attorney. Howard passed away on Monday, November 17th at his weekend house in Stamfordville, New York with his longtime companion, and love, Carmen Leiva, by his side.
He will be missed by his sister, Alexis Weinstein and brother-in-law Lee, and his three nieces as well as his seven great nieces and nephews.
Howard was an avid collector of watches and pens. He was witty and was a great story teller. He chose a perfect profession. He is irreplaceable and the sun is dimmer with him gone. Love you Howard.
