When I think of Janet, the words kind, sincere, smart handily pop into my head. She was so accomplished, such a resource to many, and she always went the extra mile to help someone out.
She was genuine. When we spoke, I knew that she wanted to understand my thoughts and feelings, and then she would respond to that, never dismissing my views. In times of distress she would problem-solve with me, with good news, she was ready to celebrate alongside me. I will always cherish that about Janet! What a role model--so smart yet not boastful; so kind and most considerate. I miss her.

Janet was a wonderful and supportive, authentic soul who I hired to breathe some fresh air into Market Research. She did that and more. Very kind to my new family and always a delight.-

I was so sad to hear about Janet's passing. Janet was such a breath of fresh air at Citi. So positive and just a joy to be around. Never a bad word to say about anyone (and trust me, we didn't' always work with the easiest of people). She always listened and was determined to help. I will miss her and hope she knew how much she was loved.

It is with great sadness that I receive the news of Janet’s passing. We were close friends from Citi with a shared love for the arts. We enjoyed so many nights of dinner, drinks and theater or opera. Whether it was Broadway or The Public, the MET or something else, I found her joyful company delightful. She was lovely, lively, optimistic, incredibly smart and caring. She loved her family so much.
One year she went to visit my natal city, Mexico City, and we spent a week of tourism and I shared my parents and aunt with her. She fell in love with the city and couldn’t wait for a next time to go back, and bring friends over.
I will terribly miss my friend and arts companion! May you rest in peace, my dearest friend. I will cherish our friendship forever.

I was so shocked and devastated to read of Janets passing. We were very dear through middle and high school in Brooklyn. I remember her parents and brother lovingly as well. Through the years we lost touch but always thought of her struggles with her husband but remembered her happiness at her wedding. She was such a special human being and from reading tributes from her friends I see how much she was loved
