Died on September 6, 2018 in Savannah, Georgia after a nineteen-year struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born May 5, 1943 in Manhattan, a daughter of Thomas Cullinan and Agnes Buckley Cullinan. She was predeceased by her husband, John Ray, and is survived by her son, Christopher Ray and daughter-in-law, Tammy Moseley Ray, her son, Douglas Ray, and her sisters, Anne Cullinan Walsh and Noreen Cullinan Cassidy. A graduate of the College of Mount Saint Vincent and Fordham Law School, she was a noted authority on ERISA law, practicing at The Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York and TIAA-CREF. For those who wish to honor and celebrate her life, there will be a wake held at Campbell's Funeral Home (1076 Madison Ave. at 81st Street) from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm on Sunday, September 16, followed by a funeral Mass at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola (980 Park Avenue at 84th Street) at 12:30pm on Monday, September 17. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to Saint Catharine Academy, 2250 Williamsbridge Road, The Bronx.
