It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Jeffrey Beers. He was an architect and interior designer known for his distinctive aesthetic, a blend of modernism with artisanal technique. He worked with some of the world’s most influential restaurateurs, designed renowned resorts, and decorated some of New York’s most elegant apartment interiors. But he was most at home deep sea fishing, blowing glass, or cooking a meal for his family and friends.
He was known to enjoy a good bottle of Barolo, and colleagues referred to him as “The Last Gentleman” of New York. He died on March 18th after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 67.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie, and two sons, Justin and Oliver.
