A professional actor, John played many characters including roles on Unsolved Mysteries, Law and Order, and As the World Turns. He was also heavily involved with character acting in off Broadway Irish Theater. John’s true gift was his ability to light up every room he entered. Bigger than life, he was constantly singing, entertaining, laughing, and drawing people together. He never met a stranger and built friendships everywhere he went, leaving behind an enormous circle of friends whose lives were brighter because of him.
John was also an avid runner who participated in the New York City Marathon for many years generously dedicated his time and spirit to assisting the physically challenged, guiding them side by side through the marathon course with compassion and encouragement.
A die-hard Yankees fan through and through, John never missed a chance to talk baseball, celebrate a win, or turn a game into an event.
John quietly helped countless people in need throughout his life, often without recognition and never seeking praise. His kindness, humor, warmth, and boundless energy touched more lives than his family may ever fully know. He will be deeply and profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Roseann, with whom he shared nearly 50 fun, adventurous years traveling the world. His kindness, humor, and warmth touched more lives than his family may ever fully know. He will be deeply and profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
