Those closest to Jose knew a man shaped by steady devotion and quiet strength—hard-working in all he took on, generous with what he had, and selfless in the ways that mattered most. He carried his faith with him, not loudly, but faithfully, and it showed in the kindness he extended so naturally to others. A beloved and cherished presence in the lives of many, Jose had a way of making people feel cared for—through simple gestures, sincere attention, and the steady reassurance of someone who could be counted on.
Jose held a deep love for his community and neighbors, always helping wherever and whenever he could. His care reached beyond his own home, offered freely and without hesitation, reflecting the kind-hearted spirit that so defined him.
Jose is survived by his wife, Rosalinda Perez; his children, Daisy Lopez, Jose Perez, and Eileen Millan; his grandchildren, Erika Leeann Colon Perez-Rabinowitz and Jose Perez III; and his great-grandchildren: Mason, Emerson, and Amelia Rabinowitz, and Jayvion, Avianna, Zayvien, Jordan, and Jayden Perez.
The family also wishes to acknowledge and include the true friends who were there until the end: Robert Smith (best friend), Adrian "Tito" Ruiz, David Vargas, and Jose Alcantara.
