Joseph B. Schwartz passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife of 58 and a half years, Marilyn Goldstein Schwartz. Brother of Judith Merriam. Uncle of Jill Dulitsky and Jeffrey Merriam.
Native of New Haven, CT. Graduate of The Hopkins School, Yale University and New York University. Former investment manager at Rothschild, Inc. for 33 years. Volunteer in Central Park and The American Museum of Natural History, philanthropist, world traveler, and lover of the arts. Devoted to his Jewish faith and to Israel. Trustee of various organizations.
