Dear Wilson family
Joe, Eggy, Tony, JAWs, all names and terms of endearment and affection that the Baker family shared. I met him in Boston when he was at BU law school and was a friend of my husband Rick when we first starting dating in the early 80s. Many, many memories from Boston/Beantown. When they were hanging out, people often mistook them for and asked if they were brothers and Tony always said
“ Yes... he’s my brotha” always followed by that infectious laugh. So many stories that we can tell and would be happy to share at a later time.

Favorite phrases from Tony:
“You don’t stop”
“ Babylon”
“ Indeed”

Glad that we were able to wish you a happy birthday and speak with you. We love and miss you... always. RIP

Dear Sofia,

To you and the Wilson Family I send my heart warm condolences.

Joseph, "Tony", "Iggy" was a true friend-brother who loved you and the children and cared for everyone he met.

I can hear his voice, deep and soothing in discussion on fatherhood, business and on life in general. Always asking, "How are you doing"? He was a true blessing.

Sofia, treasure the memories you shared with Joseph, this with Love and Faith will take your hand and will see you through.

You and the children are in my prayers.

As always,

Joe (Iggy) Wilson was a wonderful human being with a smile and laugh that lit up the room. LOVED THAT LAUGH!!!I remember the day he introduced me to his bride Sophia. It was on the beach in Sag Harbor. I knew right then and there that he found his partner in life. They raised such beautiful children. Iggy was ageless. Growing up in Sag Harbor I was several years younger than him. It didn’t matter. He still took the time to tell me a story that made me laugh and made me feel “included”.
Sophia, he will never leave you.... He will always be with you and your children in spirit which I know from experience IS POWERFUL.
Peace be with you my friend..... Jennifer

Joe Wilson was my friend, neighbor and attorney. He was a good man. He was a proud father,
dedicated husband and loving son.

He lead an admirable life and was generous with his time. I have been missing him for many months as calls went unreturned. He fought hard and earned his rest. His legacies in Sag Harbor , Harlem and at the NYS Attorney General's Office will endure throughout the places he walked. Steve Williams and family.

Joseph Wilson was a co-worker and friend who at one time served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Department of Law. He was wonderful to work with, and one of the nicest, kindest, and sweetest persons I have ever known. My deepest sympathy to his family. May God Bless his Soul.

Dear Family,
Although I had not seen Joe ( or "Eggie" as I grew up calling him) in many years , I have so many fond memories of his gentle, thoughtful, intelligent, optimistic, playful, natural, unpretentious, caring and brotherly attributes. He seemed to always have the warmth of the sun on his face when we gathered on the beach in Sag Harbor. And although he will be sorely missed, I know his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
My condolences,
Robin Coward
