Josephine, aged 110, of Manhattan NY, passed away in the early hours of Aug 20, 2021, following complications of a stroke.
Josephine was an extraordinary woman who spent the majority of her life caring for other people and working in a retirement community in Queens into her 90th decade. She was entirely self-sufficient for most of her life, living on her own for the vast majority of her time and enjoyed her work, solo trips to the hair-dresser, dancing and being surrounded by her family. She was never afraid to offer her opinion even at 110-years-of-age, including her vocal displeasure at a local livery vehicle following a minor pedestrian accident. She leaves behind a daughter, granddaughter and two great grandchildren and will be missed by all.
