Although I only knew you from passing each other on the sidewalk, riding the elevators at 545 or our frequent meetings in the laundry room, we always had a few nice words together and yours were always accompanied with a smile.  You helped make this building a nicer place to live.  I'll miss those smiles and will celebrate your life.

Kathy, thank you so much for being part of my life. You were always kind hearted, but strong and determined, and not limited by physical frailties. And for the cause of a sustainable environment, you unselfishly worked until your last days, purely for the benefit of generations that will succeed you.

Kathy, you are my friend, and I miss you. You were part of a special group of people in my life, and you were one of the ones I always looked forward to seeing. And you are here with us still, even as we say goodbye to the person we loved.

Kathy Reynolds was a wonderful activist, and such an important part of our United For Action team.  We will surely miss her tremendously. Kathy was always willing to give of her caring and her participation - and not only when we were out tabling, or at a rally, but also doing the less glamorous but no less important activist work at home on her computer. Kathy, we will always keep you in our hearts. Thank you for being with us.

While I will so miss Kathy, my dear Liberal Party colleague and friend, I will always have my fond memories of her and the good times we had together - Including the many years that we spent celebrating the Fourth of July with a mix of friends who gathered together to watch the fireworks from my terrace, sharing food and drink and great conversation.

Kathy was consistent and judicious working tirelessly to select the best people for government positions, honoring the environment and protecting animals.
 
She was a wonderful mix of practicality with a fun loving spirit.

This world has lost a precious human being!

I first met Kathy when she spearheaded our committee to write a letter about fracking to the media.  Mostly due to her writing skills, commitment, and sticktuitiveness the letter was finalized and delivered to many media persons, spreading the word about fracking.  She was one of the few, which includes many of our friends but is still few considering the population at large, who figured out what is truly important - respecting our mother earth and its resources - and she acted on it.  She unselfishly gave of her time and talents to right the wrongs of this world.
 I am so glad I had the joyful experience of spending time in Kathy's company, at the botanical gardens, sharing movies and many delightful dinners, interesting discussions with the history club, going to public lectures and events and of course working on fracking together.  We cooked together and once went to look up our ancestries in the Mormon Church. Kathy had such a wide range of interests and was so interesting to talk to.   I could tell that Kathy was genuinely interested in what was going on in my life, and I loved her for that because there is nothing I like more than to talk about myself.  She shared my love of wine but never went overboard – with her I could enjoy a few glasses without having too much.
Kathy always lifted my spirits.  She was a kindred spirit, and this is hard to find in life.  I am so sorry not to have Kathy's  company for many more years to come, but am blessed for having her friendship for a little while.

I worked with Kathleen on the MoveOn.org campaign for national health care and found her a humorous, steadfast colleague in the fight for THE RIGHT THING!  My condolences but also my sincere compliments to her wonderful family!

I will always have a special place in my heart for you, Kathy. I will always remember your devotion and hard work on behalf of The New York State Liberal Party. You worked tirelessly during the petition season and for the candidates on The Liberal Party line. You were always educated on the important social and political issues that were being discussed and acted as a mentor and leader to many of us in New York County. You always made me laugh with your expressive face and I always respected your ability to be frank while getting along with others who may not have had your point of view. So thankful that Kathy attended our 55th high school class  reunion in July. We had some laughs and some serious talk. She mentioned her brother and his children with love. I will remember her dry since of humor,  and all  links she shared on my FB page and the last bear hug she gave me. So sorry, Scott and family.

Kathy's spirit lives on in the kindness and generosity she extended to others. The Broadway for a New America team '04 holds her dearly in our hearts. I am very grateful to have known her, however briefly.

I was so shocked at the news of Kathy's death. I have fond memories of my fracktivist buddy.  We'd go for a glass of wine and a bite to eat after tabling and educating people about tracking.  We were both exhausted by Alan Cummings' portrayal of Shakespeare's Macbeth  I shall miss her immensely.

I so hope that wherever my dear Kathy is in the universe, she knows that I still think of and about her - and, even talk to her.
I will always have her imbedded in my heart.

Kathy's leaving this world as we know it leaves the deepest hole in my life --in my very being - as we were best friends and chosen sisters. 
I will be at a loss missing seeing her and our at least once a day conversations and sharing of just about everything. 
Still, the spirit of this amazing and wonderful bright, caring humanist, lover of the arts, environment and animals will always remain with me.
I love you Kathy and am so grateful that I was able to be with you for so many years and even until "the end".
