His love for fishing became a cherished pastime that brought him both tranquility and fulfillment. He enjoyed good conversation, and even an occasional debate. Leon also loved watching movies, especially those about science fiction. Two of his go to movies since a young age were ‘The Thief of Baghdad’ and ‘Laurel & Hardy: March of the Wooden Soldiers’. He also found pleasure listening to various genres of music including bluegrass, doo-wop, and Disney classics.
Continuing in the realm of entertainment, Leon harbored a soft spot for the whimsical world of Disney, with his favorite character being the lovable elephant, Dumbo. Verily, he also liked Dopey and Cheshire Cat. His appreciation for the magic and wonder that Disney brought to people's lives was a testament to his youthful spirit and enduring love for the enchanting.
