Lewis Slepian, 81, of New York City passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Sloan Kettering Hospital on May 28, 2024 at 6:12am. Born to Benjamin and Sylvia Slepian in Bronx, NY on October 28, 1942. Lewis graduated from NYU and worked for Solomon Smith Barney. He later ran the family business Down Generation with stores in NYC.
Lewis enjoyed tennis, racquetball, Ohab Zedek, Temple Emanuel and loved his family. He lived on the upper west side of Manhattan. Lewis was predeceased by his twin brother Michael Slepian, and sister Shelley Geller. He is survived by Elyse & Sandy Wels, Benjamin & Anne Slepian and Joshua & Gail Slepian; grandchildren Lindsay and Erin Wels, Jordyn and Hunter Slepian.
Nieces Stacy Geller, Debbie Geller and Ben Geller and their children.
Services will be held graveside at Riverside Cemetery, 12 Market Street, Saddlebrook, NJ 07663 on Thursday, May 30th at 11am.
