Mrs. Kingsley was the mother of my good friend, Alisse; and I remember her as a vivacious lady who painted.  I particularly recall one of her pieces that looked like a rainbow of small Hershey's kisses (squeezes of paint onto the canvas).  I lost touch with Alisse and the Kingsleys after my father died when we were all living in Munich.  I, too, have lost my mother (2002) and know the tremendous sadness this loss brings.
