Totaro – Lorraine, died peacefully at age 77 in her New York City home on August 5th, comforted by brother William, sister-in-law Rebecca and her partner of 57 years, Ellie Meglio, who with Lorraine co-founded Lorelei Events. Lorraine also leaves nieces, Gina and Nicole; nephew-in-law, Rob; great nephew, William; chosen nephews, Michael, Steve, Ray, and Robbie; cousins, and life-long friends. Even in her final days of a long and courageous battle with cancer, she never lost her zest for life, her sense of humor, and her concern for those she loved and might leave behind. A Celebration of Life will be held, on her birthday, Sunday, October 1st. at 11:00 at Frank E. Cambell Funeral Chapel, 1076 Madison Avenue, at 81st. Street. In lieu of flowers, consider contributing to your local Animal Rescue League.
