Luis E. Reyes

Luis was born on November 30, 1937, son of the late Aida Ferrer and Emilio Reyes. He was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico and arrived in East Harlem, New York as a teenager. Luis worked as a printer and was a fun-loving person. He was an avid Yankee fan, and attended many games at the old and new Yankee stadium from a young age.

The funeral service will be held at the Walter B. Cooke Funeral Home, 352 East 87th Street (bet. 1st and 2nd Aves), New York, NY 10023. There will be a service at 10:00am, followed by a procession to St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, New York for burial at 1:00pm.

Luis E. Reyes is survived by his beloved son, siblings and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 145 West 46th Street, New York, NY 10036.
