Luis was born and raised in Venezuela, where he studied and worked as a mechanical engineer. With extraordinary determination, he later came to the United States to build a new life. Starting with little, he learned a new language, adapted to a new country, and created a home filled with friendship, hard work, and love. In New York, he built a career in catering and hospitality, where he became highly respected for his dedication, generosity, and warmth. He led teams with fairness and integrity, earning the admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
What made Luis remarkable was not only what he accomplished, but how he lived each day. He never complained, even when life was difficult, and he carried a positivity that lifted the people around him. He worked tirelessly and faithfully, embodying the spirit of an old-school soul who believed in loyalty, humility, and hard work. Through his quiet strength and steady optimism, he made others feel cared for, supported, and never alone.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Gilberto and Emma, his partner, Chris, and the many relatives and friends who loved him dearly. His memory will live on in the lives he touched, the bonds he created, and the joy he gave so freely.
