I'm hoping the family will read this. I've wanted to reach you but had no contact information until now. I was so very sad to read of your mom's passing last year; seeing her memorialized in today's Times made me realize I could perhaps reach you this way. You mom's art filled my parents home for many years, we were all great fans of her and her immense talent. Knowing how I've loved her work, they gifted me with some of her pieces when they moved to a much smaller  space. Her sculptures fill our home and our hearts, always engaging people in conversation, always adding its special beauty, power and energy. We are so blessed and grateful for having her presence with us through her amazing work. I send heartfelt condolences from my mom, Estelle Ferkauf  and from myself, her daughter, Bobby Dor-Kurzweil. You're in my heart and prayers.

My siser Holly and I enjoyed many years in our childhoods spending time with all the Kaish's and we were enriched by Louise's beautiful work and kind spirit. Our loving sympathies go to Mort and Melissa at this sad time.

Ms. Luise Clayborn Kaish's magnificent bronze ark doors continue to grace our pulpit and inspire those who worship in our sanctuary at Congregation Beth Shalom, 1801 Baynard Blvd., Wilmington, DE 19802.  I will lead the congregation in the Mourner's Kaddish for her at Shabbat services tonight and tomorrow, and link her name to the ark doors behind me.  Zichrona l'vrachna.  May her memory be for a blessing.

Luise was a wonderful artist and person. My entire family truly love and cherish her work. My Parents so valued her friendship as has my sister and brother-in-law. she will be greatly missed but her wonderful work will live forever.
