
Lynn had a varied professional life. After college, she worked in advertising before becoming an elementary school teacher at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York CIty. She later joined her husband, Leland Zaubler, in the commercial real estate business they built and ran together.
Lynn and Leland were married in 1954 and shared 58 years of marriage until his death in 2012.
Gregarious and outgoing, Lynn had a wide circle of friends and took particular pleasure in bringing people together. She was a consummate host, known for graciously entertaining friends and family and creating memorable gatherings. She had a strong aesthetic sense and an elegant, distinctive taste in fashion, art, and the surroundings she created.
Lynn remained deeply engaged with the world around her throughout her life. A devoted reader of The New York Times, she followed current events closely and maintained a keen interest in the news and the wider world well into her final years.
She is survived by her sons, John Zaubler and Tom Zaubler; her daughter-in-law, Katherine Sonnenberg; and her grandchildren, William and Elizabeth Zaubler. She will be remembered by her family and by her many friends whose lives she touched over the course of her 93 years.
