To Barbra sorry about the loss of your father.

Malcolm was a good friend and a good stone person, always there to help you when you needed it.  He made things sound simple when you thought they were complicated and always had a smile for you. I will miss our good conversations and will remember him as the best family man and stone person one could ask for.  His 100 years here on earth was not enough.

Madelaine and Barbara, it's hard to believe we are older than our parents were when we were growing up at 277. In recent years, whenever I saw your father in the neighborhood I was amazed at how great he looked and how healthy he appeared. I always said hello and chatted briefly with him. He was so very proud of both of you. You are very fortunate to have had him in your lives for such a long time. My deepest sympathy, Nanci Fried Alderman

We lost a real Gentleman and a real and warm person. I am able to make this statement only after a very few times I spoke to Mr. Cohen.
Barbara, I am very sorry for your loss.

Thank you Mr. Cohen for always looking out for the madre and me. You were my mother's boss but always treated us like family. I will always remember Mr. & Mrs. Cohen coming to my high school graduation just to wish me well. There are so few men like you in this world. NY has lost an icon and the U.S. has lost a hero. Rest in peace. You will be missed.

When i met Malcolm first time, he was already in his eighties.
I just loved to listen to him.
Whatever he was talking about, the stone industry, his time as a soldier in Germany, his experience with his PC or others, he was a witness of a long period of history with both feet at the ground and with a very sharp memory.
My thoughts are with Barbara, Madelaine and all family members.

There are few names more iconic in the stone industry that Malcolm Cohen.  Barbara, our thoughts and prayes are with you and the Cohen family.

I will always feel privileged to have know Malcolm Cohen.  We met in 1994 and I so enjoyed learning about Tennessee Marble and its history in the New York Area.  He was a great leader in our industry.  May his memory be eternal.

So sorry to hear the news.  There are few names in the stone industry more iconic than Malcolm Cohen.  Barbara, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

What a Classy Gentleman I was given the opportunity to grow up with and look up to. Fond memories will be with me always. God bless The Cohens.

Malcolm was a founder of the modern stone industry, a leader, and a friend to all.

Malcolm was like a second father to me. He took me to the father daughter dances with Madelaine and both he and Janet helped to plan my wedding and Janet gave me my first cookbook and taught me some valuable cooking tricks. He welcomed me and Morris into the family with open arms. We were happy that we were able to be there to celebrate his birthday but regret not being there to say goodbye. He was a wonderful, special, warm and loving human being. May his memory remain a blessing to Madelaine, Barbara, Richard, Leslie and Michael.

I will always cherish the memories of Malcolm and his family forever.  The loving and joyful times spent with them was outstanding. My thoughts, love and prayers are with the family at this time.

I have never tired of hearing Barbara speak of her father.  Not because he was a towering figure in our industry, b ut because whenever she speaks of him, it'w with a mixture of lover, adoration, and respect.  No matter what he acheived in his long life, and there were many, many things, I am sure that he was most proud of and thankful for that kind of love. We should all be so lucky!!!
