Born in New York's Yorkville section to James and Margaret Gallacher.
Margaret attended Hunter College undergraduate and graduate programs in Education graduating 1961.
Margaret taught at public schools in Harlem.
Margaret was an active communicant in her parish and had many friends in her neighborhood.
She generously donated to many charities.
She is survived by cousins

Arrangements will be handled by Frank Campbell Funeral home, 1076 Madison Ave NY.
A viewing will be held 8:30 - 9:30 AM July 22nd.
Followed by a 10 AM mass at St Ignatius Loyola, 980 Park Ave NY.
Followed by a 1 PM burial at St Charles / Resurrection Cemetery, Farmingdale NY.
