On Monday November 29, 2021 our dear Margery Freeman Appelbaum passed away in New York City at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's and Pancreatic cancer. She died at home surrounded by the people she loved the most.
Margery was born in Washington D.C. where she met Howard, her beloved husband of 50 years. She was an accomplished, award winning Artist, received her MFA at the University of Maryland and went on to teach, and create and display her art in more than 70 shows and exhibitions.
Her proudest accomplishment was being mother to her cherished and adored children, Sam and Max Appelbaum
Margery was a tireless mother, wife, and friend and made the world a more beautiful place to live. Her life was a blessing to so many.
