Marguerite Rowan Lepere "Daisy" September 1993-March 2017

Daisy had found her niche and was pursuing a place in the world of fashion with the passion, perfectionism and energy that she brought to all of her life. She proved herself a talented and creative intern for Brandon Maxwell and was eager to continue her artistic growth and pursue her vision at the Parsons School of Design in New York City.

Daisy was a vibrant, attractive, intelligent young woman. She had an outer beauty that was impossible to miss but also had a radiant inner beauty of warmth, caring, and kindness that truly defined her.

Daisy leaves behind her parents, Carolynn Underwood Baker of Belmont ,MA & David Lepere of Carlisle, MA, her sister, Madeleine Granville Lepere of Tacoma, Washington, her maternal grandmother Helen Underwood Baker of Belmont,MA as well as her aunt Cynthia Baker Burns & family of Belmont MA and uncles Richard Loring Baker & family of Jamaica Plain and William Henry Baker Jr & family of New Bedford MA. And the love of her life, her cousin ,8 year old Violet Magdalena VanDale of Tiverton, RI

I don't know how I never heard about this tragedy...but I didn't know until today.

Daisy was such a great spirit in my Nashoba Brooks classroom, on our stage, at forensics contests (even coming back to judge at tournaments after she had graduated). Her grace, good humor, complete warmth and generosity made her a true highlight--every day. I truly loved her--and still do.

I must be honest and say, in reality I was just an acquaintance, we met and spoke and shared time , either at a family gathering or crew event. Daisy attended my son's boarding school. Once she told me she had a crush on him. I was beaming. Beautiful sweet Daisie, from the moment I met you , that was it. You got me.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Daisy, you were always so unbelievably kind to me and made me feel more confident in myself at a very awkward stage in life. I am so heartbroken to hear what happened to you, but I hope you have found the peace you were looking for. My prayers and thoughts go out to all who loved you.

Daisy matured into a beautiful, talented young woman even as she remains frozen in time as a kind, endearing child whose presence enriched the lives of our daughters at Nashoba Brooks. I am heartbroken by your loss. My deepest condolences to Carolynn, David and Madeleine.

Sending my deepest sympathy to your family at this heartbreaking time of loss.

I was glad to be Daisy's dorm parent and math teacher but will remember, most of all, what a good friend she was to both my kids. She was kind and had a heart for social justice. She will be missed and always remembered.

Daisy was a history student that I remember well - she made an impression on me. She was almost always positive and looking on the bright side. For every new activity that I tried in class she was never negative or pessimistic but willing to go for it. She also listened to my suggestions carefully and then took them to heart for the next activity. I am so saddened by her passing. T.J. Palmer, History, Brewster Academy
