Marie Estime

Marie passed away peacefully in the evening of February 12, 2023, just two weeks short of her 88th birthday, after a long bout with a chronic illness. She’s survived by her husband Jean S, Estime, her daughters: Marie Esperanta Polynice and Marie Yvelene Estime, her sons: Joseph-Yvon, Evenot, Marc-Nico, Marc-Andre, Pierre Rony and Figaro Estime, her many grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren, her sister Marie Decila Dalzon and her many nieces and nephews.

Marie was born in Saint Marc Haiti, but resided in Manhattan NY for the past 36 years. She loved to cook, clean, listening to Haitian music, but above all else, she loved taking care of kids.

A funeral mass will be held in her honor Saturday February 25, at the Holy Name of Jesus and St. Gregory Catholic Church, 207 W. 96th St, New York, NY, 10025, at 9:30 AM. Marie will then be put to Rest at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, Queens, NY. May she rest in the eternal peace of the Lord.”
