Hi Mark - I know somehow you'll read the texts I've sent you & feel my love.  You've been in my thoughts constantly.  I have wonderful memories from when we were young - running for the ice cream truck in the Bronx, racing for our clues on Easter, trading candy, swimming, climbing into the tree house, walking to the store across  from the apartment (a big deal for a girl who grew up in the suburbs), sharing so many Thanksgivings with you at the kids' table. I can remember when you weren't my cousin.  Remember when Summer & I visited your office in the city?  You were so proud of what you'd accomplished, and I felt happy to see you happy.  We ate dinner with your parents, and you got Summer a whole cup of maraschino cherries from the bartender.  She thought you were the best. I love that we planned the Tuminaro gathering together - you did a spectacular job organizing everything. You made me laugh over & over at Craig's wedding.  You listened to me when I was struggling, and you gave me advice I respected & took to heart.  You're one of the people who got me, and I trusted you.  You didn't judge, and your support helped me gain the confidence & independence I needed during the toughest time of my life. I loved your spirit, Mark.  You were sensitive, open-minded, honest, and real.  You could be sarcastic too, and I loved your wit.  You were smart & observant.  Your effort to live contentedly during the last few years affected me deeply, and I wish I could have helped you.  I hope being your friend eased your pain a bit. I'll miss our late night texts.  I'll miss looking for you first at family events & the smile I'd see when you spotted me. You're special to me, and you'll live in my heart & soul forever.
