
Mary Ann Stackpole, New York City died March 8th after a long illness. Mary Ann was the daughter of Margaret R (Heshion) Stackpole and Irving L. Stackpole Sr. late of Somerville, Massachusetts. She is survived by three sisters: Amy L. Kelley of Winchester, MA and her husband Richard, Susan E.Stackpole-Kelley of Holiday, FL and her fiancé Don Johnson and Nora E. Stackpole of Clearwater, FL and one brother: Irving L. Stackpole, Jr. of Brookline, MA and his wife Elizabeth Ziemba. Mary Ann was pre-deceased by her sister Patricia J. Stackpole of Somerville, MA. Mary Ann was the loving aunt of three nieces, Dr. Stephanie Kelley-Romano, Margaret Kelley and Jessica Shontz-Stackpole; two nephews, Gregory Stackpole and Bradley Stackpole. Mary Ann was also the proud grand aunt of Amy Marie Kelley, George Romano, Richard Romano and Seraphima Stackpole. She is also survived by several wonderful cousins and dear friends Charles Fabrizio and Kate Gill of New York City. Mary Ann graduated from Rosary Academy in Watertown, MA and received a bachelor’s degree from Regis College in Weston, MA. After graduation from Regis, Mary Ann went to New York City where she spent most of her life as an active member of the Actor’s Guild and had a few roles in both plays and films. Mary Ann had also written a play and was working on having it showcased. Mary Ann was very involved in Holy Trinity Catholic Church on W. 82nd St. in New York City. She volunteered in the Outreach Ministries in the soup kitchen. Mary Ann was a devout Catholic, a loving sister and aunt and a kind friend. She will be missed.
