I was sad to hear of Aunt Maureen’s passing. My deepest condolences to her immediate family.

Although I didn’t know Maureen too well, I’m glad she was able to reconnect with my mother and create meaningful memories with her sister. I know the rekindled relationship developed between Maureen and my mother was good for both of them and the memories they shared together the past few years will be cherished by my mom. Maureen always asked about my children and sent little outfits for them to wear. She was a generous and family oriented woman. I’m glad I was able to get to know her and share a few happy moments with her at my shower and wedding reception. May she Rest In Peace.

I was saddened to hear of Aunt Maureen's passing. I know she has suffered from multiple health problems, so I'm glad she is at rest and not lingering during this pandemic.

While I didn't know her that long, she was always interested in my academic and personal life when we spoke and was excited to share her children and grandchildren's lives with me. I'm very grateful that Maureen and my mother were able to re-connect and enjoy time as sisters again.
And like my mother the phrase "There is no Love like a Mothers Love" I'm sure, was coined for Aunt Maureen.

My condolences to all her family and friends.

Raising children keeps most working parents busy and we're no different. The myriad of excuses for not keeping regular contact is a regret and burden we share with many.

We've enjoyed having Maureen back in our lives, sharing a renewed sense of family. The last decade has been enriching and enabled us to share many joyous memories.

If we hadn't called one day Maureen would call " hello Joyce is everything alright, I didn't hear from you". Maureen always asked how Kaitlyn and the grandchildren were , how's Dan's lab work going and even how Dash was doing in the show ring.

Maureen was always thinking of and concerned for others even these last few months she would say I can't talk right now I'll call tomorrow rather than alert anyone of her failing health. Maureen didn't want my wife to worry about her.

I'm eternally grateful to Maureen for bringing joy and laughter into Joyce's life.
Most people don't understand a sister's love unless they experience it, by extension I've experienced my wife's heart fill with love and joy having her sister Maureen back in her life.

My wife will miss her older sister, she will miss her best friend and we will miss a caring and loving soul only a few can truly say they knew well.

Some say the most important thing in life is to leave something behind. Maureen has left our hearts touched with her love and kindness.

It's hard to say goodbye...
Thank you for all your encouragement through the years, you were my biggest fan after our mother died 53 years ago.
You kept moms memory alive for decades while juggling motherhood , work and everything life throws at you.

Just last week you told me some funny stories that had us both laughing.

You told me you're a believer, that you're looking forward to seeing mom again.

Now you're together, I bet the two of you are enjoying the rice pudding mom made that we could never duplicate. It definitely wouldn't be her pea soup.

The hardest part for me is letting you go because I won't be a sister anymore. But rest assured that I will keep you alive in my memories and do all things with love for you until we see each other and laugh again.
You made me a believer too.
Love and tears your little sister

To the Dinan family,
It has been our pleasure to get to know your family through the union of Johnathan and Jennifer. Maureen has been a strong Mom, Mom-in-law, and Grandmom for as long as we have known her. We have enjoyed family events with all of you and Maureen has been at the heart of those gatherings. One ALWAYS knew where they stood with Maureen; she had an indomitable spirit which we are sure lives on with each of you. We’ve had the pleasure of having Maureen stay over with us a few times, and she has great stories about her children, the passion of her life. She will be missed.
Much love,
Helen and Ted

I feel terrible that this situation meant you guys weren't able to be with each other during her last days, you all deserved better than that... All of my interactions over the years with your mom/wife have been nothing but friendly and sometimes quite funny either at the time or in retrospect. For what comfort it is, to feel as sad as all of you do, you had someone very special in your life.

I knew Maureen for many years living in the same building. I remember how kind she was to me after my husband Ricky died. When I needed help with my mom and the visiting nurses, Maureen gave me advice. She always took the time to say hello to my dogs. 💞 My heartfelt condolences to everyone in her family

I will forever be grateful for such an amazingly strong woman, for if it wasn't for Maureen Dinan, I would not have gained such a GENUINE friend, her daughter Amelia Dinan. 💗

I always felt so welcomed in her home and will remember the few holidays where I joined in with the Dinan's and just laughed and felt SO comfortable.

God bless you Maureen always and may you sleep in eternal peace now and forever...🙇🏼‍♀️⚘💛
