Michelle V Chant

Michelle was born in Philadelphia and carried a deep pride in her hometown throughout her decades in New York City.

She graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in advertising design.

Michelle put her exceptional eye and boundless creativity to work during an illustrious career as an art producer, art buyer, and photo agent at some of the nation’s largest advertising agencies, including Wieden + Kennedy, Fallon New York, J. Walter Thompson, and Deutsch. She produced global campaigns for clients including Delta Air Lines and Nike.

Michelle brought that same passion and attention to detail into her personal life. Everyone in her orbit benefited from her ability to make things happen, whether it was a beautiful brunch spread, a European vacation (with a very detailed itinerary), or a visit to the Met.

Michelle loved to travel and spent a year working in Amsterdam at 180 Amsterdam. She treasured summers with her friends and family at the Jersey Shore and in western Connecticut. A lover of music, film, architecture, running, shopping for the perfect gift, and fine food, Michelle embraced every experience with verve and enthusiasm.

Michelle will be remembered by her friends and family for being bossy (oldest sibling of four!), sassy, and extremely loving. She was radiant, witty, declarative, decisive, and remarkably positive, even through her illness.

Her greatest treasure, however, was her family. Nothing gave Michelle more joy than spending time with her children, Nathaniel and Samantha, and her husband, Dan Rosner. She showered them generously, her love, brilliant smile, and distinctive laugh.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Dan Rosner; her children, Samantha and Nathaniel Rosner; her parents, Yvette and Richard Chant; her siblings, Abbe Chant Diana (Nate Diana), Marcy Chant (Jeremy Munn), and Michael Chant (Leslie Robinson); her mother-in-law, Sarelle Rosner (Bennett Rosner); and the entire extended Chant and Rosner family.

Michelle will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, keen eye for beauty, and the effortless way she brought people together. Her memory is, and always will be, an eternal blessing.

A Funeral Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 W 76th St, New York, New York 10023, on August 4, 2026, at 11:00 am.
