Michelle was special to the Friday night jazz trio at Sandpiper. She would reuest songs and interact us all and regularly came over to say hi. We had a special song we played only for her (Dancing in the Dark) and when she was at dinner and we played it, she would look over to us and smile, knowing that is was for no one else but her.
We (Richard, Darren & Chris) will miss you. Next time we perform at Sandpiper, we will play your special song in your honor, then retire it, as it will never have the same meaning with out you.
Rest in peace gentle lady.

Breakfast at Sandpiper: 'Good morning Michelle, how are you?'
Instant reply: 'How long have you got?'
She was a lovely person who was an absolute part of our Bajan holiday. We shall both miss her, for herself, her fun, her enthusiasm for each day.
Rest gently.

Whenever my family and I came to visit Barbados we would get to see Michelle and family. Although I did not know her very well her smile left such an impression on me to last a life time. Her smile extended a warmth and welcome to everyone unlike any other that I will always remember.
Much love and condolences to her family!

Aunty Michelle meant the world to me and my family. She was not only a friend but a mentor and surrogate grandmother.

She taught us valuable life lessons and encouraged us to be brave and always live in our truth.

She was present at every big event, show, and birthday for as long as I can remember. She supported every dream and idea we ever had and took immense pride to see us live them out.

Though she is no longer here and her presence is greatly missed I am comforted by the idea that she is now being embraced in laughter and love by uncle George and my uncle Alfred.

I hope you find peace and know that I will think of you often and when I visit faraway I will look out at the view and remember how much you loved this island, that cottage and me.

Thank you for all you gave me, I owe so much of who I am to you.

I miss you
Maria

I am so sorry to hear of her death. Sending you all comfort and
sympathy.

Michelle was my surrogate grandmother. She was present for me through every major chapter of my life. Every time I had the slightest doubt that I could accomplish something she snuffed that out.

Through her I learnt to be brave, and take risks for joy and love.

Thank you, Michelle. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

From Michael and Gail Ramsay:
Michelle was a very special friend. She entered our lives through Mike, who was just starting out, as a very young manager at the Sand Piper Hotel.
Mike then introduced both George and herself to the Pragnell Family. This started a long and intimate relationship for over 30 years
What a blessing this was to us all

She was our Son Mark"s Godmother.
What a wonderful, caring and loving Godmother, mentor and friend she was both to our daughter Maria and our Son.
We have such lovely memories of both herself and George at our cottage "FARAWAY."
What a privilege it was to have time with them there.
We will miss our time at Sandpiper Hotel with her as well.
May she rest in peace.
Gone but never forgotten in our Hearts
Peace and comfort to all in the family
Love Gail and Michael Ramsay💖🙏
